Success Story - Sage Wild Eye

Through Sage intacct we've unlocked a new era in our growth and we really are maturing as a business.

Our ability now to forecast, to pick up on trends in the future has really opened our eyes to the possibilities of how we can grow sustainably.

Sage intacct has unlocked those sort of values for us to be able to measure where we're at and give me that personal sense of achievement.

So our mission at Wildeye is to change the way that our guests see the world through meaningful connections the moment they engage with one of our tour planners or with one of our photographic guides on the ground.

Obviously the most important connection with travel in the wildlife space, not just with wildlife and natural beauty, but also from a conservation perspective and obviously travel and tourism funds conservation in today's era.

Whilst Sage business cloud accounting had really served a purpose for us as a small business, with the growth and the new direction that we were taking and expanding into new markets, we needed additional functionality and flexibility that that system no longer afforded and that Sage Intact allowed us to grow into that space with ease.

The multi currency functionality was a huge factor for us given that pretty much everything outside of South Africa and Namibia is charged in US dollars rather than their local currencies.

We needed to be able to invoice, but then also to reconcile using current rate of exchanges to actually accurately understand where we were from a cost base given that we are based in South Africa.

One of the most beneficial features of Sage INTAC has been deferred revenue to know how we are trending and what we've got still coming down the line and also to map out supply payments.

So our ability to manage our cash flows correctly is also a huge benefit for us.

Absolute gravitas were really important in making sure that this was a success and that we were able to transition as effectively as we did and to make sure that the system was built in such a way that allowed us to generate one Click Reporting Sage Intact comes with cutting edge reporting and dashboard.

It is real time, it is custom, comprehensive and accurate.

So going into the future, Wildeye is set up for success because they have real time information that is valuable, meaningful and a tool that assists them in making strategic decisions for growth.

Having those dashboards, being able to see the graphs, being able to see the trends and also monitoring ratios on a month to month basis has made it very easy to manage the business as a whole.

One of my favourite functions with Sage Intact is the dashboards because it allows you to have real time financial data which makes it easier to analyze make decisions and change financial information as and when it happens.

Through Sage intacct, we've been able to identify levers within the business unlock certain efficiencies, whether it's in reporting or in cost cutting.

As well, SAGE INTAC not only brings efficiency and automation, but also enables us to track, measure, and manage these levers consistently.
