So let me bring back my color wheel here.

So a lot of people are probably wondering, what exactly is that?

First of all, guys, I keep this photo literally, on my iPhone.

You can also get a physical one of these from your local arts and crafts store.

But basically, let me break it down for you.

Let's start with complementary colors.

So when it comes to makeup, if you're dealing with something like redness, I deal with flare ups, random flare ups.

If your foundation or your concealer isn't covering that well, it means that you didn't kind of diminish it with an undertone like this.

So redness here, you can see that right opposite, those are complementary colors.

And a green undertone cream base will neutralize and diminish all redness.

Then layer on your concealer and your foundation, and it's literally magic.

It's gone.

It's like an eraser.

Okay, but now, friend, I struggle with dark circles, right?

So how would I be able to, like, deal with that?

Okay, so dark circles are usually in this zone.

So when it comes to dark circles, you want, like, a peachy type of concealer.

So you'll see here, this yellow, orange, peach zone is your best route to completely diminish dark circles.

And that's literally the science.

So someone is asking, does color theory apply to foundation too, or is it just for eyes and lips?

Okay, that's actually a really, really good question.

I'm about to, help you guys find the perfect foundation.

So when it comes to undertones, let's first define what an undertone is.

So an undertone is basically the base color of your skin.

So envision it as that subtle color that kind of shines through your complexion when your skin is perfect.

And even so, for me, I have a yellow undertone, right?

So that means, like, my veins, as you can see here, are like, between, like, your green and your blue.

Kind of see this in my color wheel, My mental color wheel.

Exactly.

We spoke about complementary colors.

So when it comes to blue, green, you go on the opposite side, which is like your yellow undertone type of foundation.

Hence why then I choose a yellow undertone foundation to neutralize any, like, blue undertones in my complexion.

Okay, so a lot of people who might be intimidated by all this kind of jargon might want to know, how do you actually find your undertones?

So is it something that I have to google?

Is it something that I have to, you know, have an understanding of skincare?

Run me through that.

I mean, you can even look online.

So if you a, girly who loves a monochromatic style, that's a huge trend at the moment, especially with your clean makeup, this palette here is an absolute beaut.

So you can see similar type of, like, color family, keeping it simple.

So if you're someone who loves the nudes, loves to keep it clean and simple, this is the type of palette that you will literally grab onto.

So does the color theory work with the lip or, like, how do I kind of use the science of it to get the right shade on my lips?

So it all comes down to knowing and understanding your skin tone.

So with nudes, if you have, like, a darker complexion, like, I can see you have, like, a beautiful pearl purple undertones.

So you want to go for those rosy nudes.

And I think we have the perfect color.

I was just literally, as you were talking, I was like, there's definitely a color that.

So you can see this is a beautiful rosy nude.

A liquid lipstick.

We love a matte lipstick to stay on all day.
